Mud-Out preparation:

Another very important need for Disaster Relief is: Gather equipment for Mud-Out teams

- Gas Powered pressure washer (minimum 1500 psi)
- 50 foot heavy duty water hose
- Gas powered water pump
- Inexpensive sump pumps
- Heavy duty wet/dry shop vac
- Tool box with basic tools
- Wrecking bars (crow and pry bars) of assorted lengths
- Reciprocating saw with spare blades
- Large scoop shovel
- Square shovels
- Wheelbarrows
- Six-foot step ladder
- Squeegees
- Brooms
- Rubber gloves and boots
- Garden Sprayers
- Five gallon buckets
- Bleach (do not store in the trailer)

These volunteers are called spontaneous Disaster Relief Volunteers and do not have to be trained, but will go with other trained volunteers. We are lining up spontaneous Disaster Relief Volunteers to:
- Help people put on blue tarps provided by the Red Cross
- Mud-Out Teams to begin after assessments are done.
